This page shows how to download bank statements

Bank statements can be downloaded from your online banking website using the following methods. Some words may be different by banks but downloading bank statements can be done in similar ways.

1. Access to online banking site

Please access to online banking sites from browser software (Google chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge etc.)

It does not seem to be possible to download bank statements from smartphone app. Please let us know if you know or find a method to download bank statements using bank app.

2. Select bank account

If you have more than one business bank account, please download bank statement one by one.

3. Select period

Select the starting date and ending date of necessary period. If it is for GST Apr-May/2020, please select 01/04/2020 as the start date, and 31/05/2020 as the last date.

4. Click Search (Update)

All the transactions (deposits and withdraws) are displayed.

5. Click small triangle icon next to Search/Export option

6. Download CSV format bank statement

Please make the following settings to download CSV format bank statements.

Which are between: Please leave these columns blank to download all the transactions.

Includes: Deposits and Withdrawals (If this option is selected, please leave it as is.)

Export: Please select CSV forms. If you have more than one type, for example, Comma Separated Values - Basic (CSV) and Comma Separated Values - Full (CSV), our preference is Comma Separated Values - Full (CSV), but Comma Separated Values - Basic (CSV) is also OK.

7. Click Export.

CSV file of bank statement is downloaded to your computer or smartphone.

8. Download PDF format bank statements

Please change the following option only and download PDF bank statements.

Export: Print Friendly - Basic (PDF)

Click Export to download PDF format bank statement. Print Friendly - Full (PDF) is also OK.

9. Open the next bank account and download bank statement in the same way.

If you have more than one business bank account, please download all the bank statements one by one.

10. Send all the bank statements as email attachment.

Please send email with bank statements attached to accountants@cwkaccountants.co.nz.
